My name is Liang Chen. I came from Beijing, People's Republic of China. My hometown is Jinzhai county, Anhui province.I received my B.S in Geology at 1992 from Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology Department, Changchun University of Earthsciences and my M.S. in Geology at 1995 from Environmental department in Chinese University of Geosciences (Beijing). As a Geology student, I have spent a large portion of my time at the computer, mathematics.
In my leisure time, my most favorite sport is Soccer, Tennis, Table tennis and Go (a Kind of chinese chess). Sometimes I play Go on the net. The sport I watched the most is soccer, but now I could not watch it very often. I missed the life in Beijing very much.
Now I am studying for my Ph.D. in Geology Department in Northern Illinois University. My academic advisor is Dr. Philip Carpenter. My interest area is Hydrogeology, especially in Contamination Hydrogeology.
